Rob Key says that it is an “absolute honour” to take up the role of managing director of the men’s team at the ECB. He was hired in mid-April and has now made his first big appointment in the role: Ben Stokes as the new captain. The England test team have won once in their last 17 games. They play their first game under Key’s management against New Zealand in June and he is hopeful he can be the man to turn the team’s fortunes around. He speaks to Today’s Jacqui Oatley.
