Storm Large wrote a book about her crazy life. It was apparently so crazy her publishers had to keep sending it back to her because they were afraid people were going to freak out while reading it. She talks about the struggles with writing it, the nervousness about her dad possibly reading it, and some of the stories that couldn't make it in, stories about smoking in places you shouldn't smoke, and dilemmas about being "The Good Ex" as if such a thing should exist. Courtenay Hameister deals with the news that Garrison Keillor won't be leaving Public Radio any time soon, and introduces listeners to a foolproof way to stay motivated while writing. Also - true love is beautiful, but it's also kinda gross. Actually, it's REALLY gross. Today's show is kinda all about beautiful, uncomfortable things.
