OnePlanet: More Than One Planet Oct. 7, 2011

from One Planet· · 1 listeners

A plethora of Earth-like planets have been discovered in recent months, and scientists believe there could be thousands of others out there just waiting for us to explore - and exploit. On this week's One Planet we consider what we're doing to find resources in neighbouring solar systems, what could be out there, and how mankind might react to another world. Richard Hollingham goes to Mars (well, a mock-up just off the A1) to find out what it could mean for the environment if there turned out to be more than one planet like Earth.
