This week guest-host James Cudmore brings you a special edition of The House from Afghanistan. James is in Kandahar to cover the end of Canada's combat mission there. He'll bring us the sounds and voices of soldiers, as well as interviews with Canada's Chief of the Defence Staff, General Walter Natynczyk, and Defence Minister Peter MacKay; James also talks with the commander of Canada's first contingent to Afghanistan in 2002 - retired Colonel Pat Stogran; and finally James sits down with Canadian Press reporter Murray Brewster, the author of The Savage War: The Untold Battles of Afghanistan.
