Formerly known as MarioCast, Dr. Mario Ajero hosts The Piano Podcast, a video podcast devoted to pianists and piano pedagogy. Episodes include lessons in both classical and popular music, performances, and interviews with other people within the piano industry. Mario Ajero is Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy and Coordinator of Class Piano at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He earned his Ph.D. in Music Education with a concentration in Piano Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) through MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). His other degrees are from Temple University in Philadelphia.
